Safety Standards

All Wiedenmann employees conduct themselves not only within the OSHA standards but to our own stringent safety standards specifically designed for the work in which we are involved in on a daily basis. These guidelines are introduced to each new employee prior to starting work for Wiedenmann through our written safety manual.

We are responsive and open to new ideas and technical advancements in the safety field which enables us to complete your projects in a safety oriented environment. Our Safety Director (Sam Fuller) is also a member of the local SMACNA Safety Committee. Wiedenmann is a member of the OSHA Build Safe Partnership Program. OSHA safety audits are conducted on a regular basis in both the shop and field. Weekly safety inspections are conducted by our resident safety director.

All Wiedenmann foremen have completed numerous safety classes and courses which include but are not limited to OSHA 30 Hour Competent Person Certification, Adult and Child CPR/AED, Standard First Aid, Haz-com Training, Crane Signaling and Rigging, Fall Protection, Forklift Training, Scaffold Training, and Aerial Lift Training.

Wiedenmann was recently awarded first place for The Kansas City Builder’s Association Safety Award. We also received the SMACNA “Zero Injury” award for 2010.

Wiedenmann has a current Experience Modification Rating of .87 and it is our duty to complete your project in a timely manner, exceeding your expectations of quality, and above all, safely.
