W.C. Wiedenmann has operated successfully and continuously for over 120 years in Kansas City. The company still bears the founder's name and is actively owned and operated by fourth generation family members. Established in 1887, the company operated primarily as a sheet metal fabricator, but also installed slate and tile roofs.
Over the years, as industry and technology advanced, Wiedenmann kept pace. The company carefully broadened its capabilities to respond to the growing need for industrial ventilation products and services. Beginning in the early 1930's Wiedenmann began the development and manufacture of dust control equipment and systems. Wiedenmann soon became recognized as one of the nation's leaders in design, manufacture and installation of quality "turn-key" dust control and collection systems.
In 2005 Wiedenmann opened an Architectural and Ornamental Metals Division; working on such projects as the KCI Car Rental Facility and KCI Terminal Renovation, The Legends Shopping District, Livestrong Sporting Stadium, Park Place, The Richard Boiling Federal Building, Ameristar Casino and the TWA Moonliner Rocket.
Today, Wiedenmann continues to provide quality service, craftsmanship and detail oriented proficiency that has kept them on track for the last 124 years. Whether it is industrial or architectural, the customer's needs are of the utmost importance on every Wiedenmann project.
